For resurfacIng uneven and pitted concrete, what type of performance should I expect? Also, other than prep. What tips could you offer for this procedure?
Bobby
Tom: There’s leveling compounds to do that, you buy them by the bag. You put them out, and you trowl them down and that’s usually done for pep work underneath engineered floors or even tile, anything that’s really bad. Now, it doesn’t look great so we have to put something on top of that, whether you paint it, tile, engineer type floor or even a coating say from CIC, Concepts in Concrete, but you’re going to want to put something on top of that to make it look good. That’s how you level it and get rid of the pitting and get it nice and prepped ready for the floor finish.
Charlie: How is that going to perform over time?
Tom: I’ll be fine. It’s there to do exactly what it does but it still is ugly until you put something on top of it
