Fourth of July fireworks are fun to watch. Check out our list of fireworks shows near you. Then again, doing it yourself is even more fun. While they’re banned in the city of Houston, fireworks stands abound outside the city limits. If you’re considering getting your own fireworks, here are two pieces of advice for you: 1) Make sure they’re legal where you intend to light them off; an expensive fine is no way to end your celebration. And, 2) Make sure you do it safely. We went to one of the local dealers for tips on doing just that.
