Tom, my husband had major spine surgery and we have several small projects that need to be taken care of around our home. Can you recommend a good handyman or handyman service?
Thank you.
Terri
Tom: You know Charlie, we’ve been on the air a long time. I’ve been doing this since in that old station back in the 80’s.
Charlie: Yeah, the old station.
Tom: I’ve gotten more calls about, “I need a handyman.” Now they’re probably becoming less and less out there, to be honest with you.
Charlie: Isn’t that why they have match.com?
Tom: Maybe. Or you can call James Taylor, but the bottom line is this: is if I had a really good handyman name, and I gave him out on the air right now, he’d have 4,000 calls tomorrow.
Charlie: Right, amen.
Tom: This is what my advice is. Find one, and I don’t know one to give you because I’m my own handyman, you’ll have to ask my wife, she can give you my name.
Charlie: Depends on what day of the week.
Tom: That’s true too. When you find one, you pay him extra, you give him presents on Christmas, and you get him donuts and Whataburgers, whatever else he needs, you treat him well, offer him iced tea, because those guys are far and few between.
