We had our home built 11 years ago and are starting to see signs of foundation problems, slight sheetrock and brick cracking. What is the best method of repair and who would you recommend using?
I would like three estimates.
Richard
Tom: You can get three estimates, and get four or five if you want to, but the pile-driven method is one I like because it tests the soil against the point load of the house. There’s several versions of it. We have a sponsor, Du-West. We’d love to have you part of that three or more. They do an ultrapile system which is a variation of the pile-driven method. It’s really by far the best way to go, plus you don’t dig a hole so you have all the skin friction. It tests the soil and it tests the load, and it’s just got all these beautiful things involved with it.
