Charlie:
Maria, She says she has galvanized pipes, which she’d like to replace. However, she wants to sell the house in the future. She says if she has her pipes restored, you know lined, by Texas Drain Technology, wouldn’t she have to have the pipes changed out to PVC to sell the house?
Podcast: Play in new window
Tom:
No. That simple. No. There’s just no reason. People are buying homes all the time. I hope not, because my mother’s home has galvanized pipe. Someday I’m going to have to sell that. No, it’s perfectly fine. They’re sold all the time. In fact, I think it’s a great selling point that the pipes have been treated, relined, full water pressure back, no rust in the pipes, all kinds of good stuff. I think it’s actually a good thing to put on your little selling resume.
Charlie:
Certainly on your disclosure, because-
Tom:
Disclosure, yeah.
Charlie:
That’s something that actually adds value. I think Vic Caso over there told me that that system will easily outlive your house.
Tom:
Yeah. Well, I don’t know about the house, but it will certainly outlive you. Unless you’re buying a house and you’re eight years-old.
Charlie:
Yeah really
Tom:
It’s a seventy-five year life.
Charlie:
Anything that happens to the party for your life that you’re not invited to, but, you know.
Tom:
Yeah, who cares? Who cares?
