Have a metal roof with a small link when raining and windy. How can I find the the leak and what to use to repair it?
Travis
Tom: Finding a leak is usually best done with a hose on a dry day. Go out there and find out why it’s leaking. Spray it like crazy and don’t worry about getting some clean water in your house. How to repair it, I don’t know, because I don’t know how it’s leaking yet. Nobody knows how to repair it until you find out why it’s leaking. It could be flashing, it could be caulking, it could be bad header across the top that’s not weather-proof. There’s so many different things with all kinds of leaks, so find the leak. It’s usually easy to fix once you find it, but finding it’s the tough part.
